This year's SLO and Assessment
Institute focuses on "SLOs and Assessment:
Keep It Going!" While we all know that
our colleges need to be proficient on the ACCJC
rubric for SLOs and Assessment by 2012, we also
need to focus on how we sustain our work to get
to 2012 and beyond. The SLO and Assessment Institute
will provide two tracks addressing: 1) training
for new SLO coordinators and programs and 2)
topics for experienced SLO coordinators with
growing programs on their campuses. Breakouts
will focus on assessment methods, data, and ways
to sustain SLO and assessment efforts. We will
be discussing the role of SLOs in General Education
as well as looking at evidence-based practices
that contribute to institutional planning.
