Location
The Oakland Marriott City Center is located at 1001 West Broadway, Oakland, CA 94607. Driving directions can be found here. For those flying in, Oakland International Airport is the closest airport. The hotel does not provide shuttle service. Attendees may self park in the Oakland Convention Center parking garage for $18/day (no in and out privileges). Transportation to and from the airport, along with parking fees, are considered reimburseable as long as it was the most economical means of travel.
Travel Arrangements and Reimbursement
Those who need assistance with flight arrangements are encouraged to contact the Senate office as soon as possible in order to secure a reservation. For those choosing to make their own travel arrangements, the closest airport to the Oakland Marriott is Oakland International Airport. Please fill out our online travel request form to request a flight. Please note that flights are made soon after a request form is submitted. As flights are non-refundable, if you cancel your registration, you will be held responsible for the cost of your flight, regardless if you cancel prior to February 27th.
If you make your own travel arrangements, all travel costs are reimbursable, as long as they are in accordance with Academic Senate policy; the most economical means available.
