2024 Spring Area Meetings- Various Locations |
Given the overall success of the Area Meetings during fall 2023, the ASCCC has opted to once again hold the Area Meetings during a single day. The 2024 Spring Area Meetings will be held March 22, 2024. These meetings are held before the upcoming plenary session to discuss matters of concern to your Area, review proposed resolutions to be voted on at plenary session, and generate new resolutions. The day will start with everyone together for a morning general session that will include the President's Update, Foundation Update, Discipline List process information, and resolutions information along with opportunities to ask questions about each of these topics. Then faculty will convene by areas to continue with review of resolutions and sharing of college updates. To access a list of all colleges by Area, please visit the ASCCC Area Map and College Listing. The ASCCC Executive Committee looks forward to seeing you on March 22nd. The tentative schedule for these webinars will be the third Wednesday of the month from 1:00PM - 2:00PM. The webinars will be hosted through Zoom Events. |

Why wait until the 2024 ASCCC Curriculum Institute to begin statewide dialogue around curricular topics of interest? The ASCCC 2023-2024 Curriculum Committee is excited to bring back in-person Fall & Spring Curriculum Regionals, where we will be joined by our colleagues in the Education Services Division of the state Chancellor’s Office. In intentional efforts to include support our Central Valley faculty and colleagues, we are holding 3 regionals each term: North Regional, South Regional, and Central Valley Regional. |
