The ASCCC Curriculum Committee is pleased to announce the 2019 Fall Curriculum Regional meetings, where we will be joined by our colleagues in the Education Services Division of the Chancellor’s Office. Teams including academic senate presidents, curriculum chairs, articulation officers, curriculum specialists, and administrators are encouraged to attend. The session will consist of updates on Title 5 revisions, curriculum streamlining and local approvals for 2019-2020, PCAH 7thedition, the curriculum inventory/COCI, Credit for Prior Learning, AB 705 ESL Recoding and CB21 rubric, and more. Additional topics for discussion include the faculty in the role of governance, particularly how it pertains to curriculum development, curriculum committees, and guided pathways efforts.

Pierce College located is 1 mile north of the 101 Freeway exit at Winnetka Avenue in Woodland Hills. Enter the campus off Winnetka Avenue turning West at Calvert/Brahma Drive.
Go to 1st Stop Sign, turn RIGHT and you may park in student parking lot 1. If the student lot is full, you may also stay in the far right lane. Proceed to gate; if attendant in booth, tell them the event or person’s name you are here for. Otherwise pull up to the gate bar and push the button at left to speak to the Sheriff’s Office, and tell them.
Gate Opens, go through and turn LEFT into Staff Parking Lot. Park and walk towards the far front of the long Administration (“Alder”) 1000 Building on your right until you reach the Mall. Walk two buildings down the Mall to the STUDENT COMMUNITY CENTER on your left. The GREAT HALL is in the STUDENT COMMUNITY CENTER.
