Improving Early Childhood Education (ECE) With No-Cost Resources

The ASCCC Open Educational Resources (OER) Initiative invites ECE faculty to participate in a two-day workshop designed to showcase and discuss the use of both OER and Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) materials intended to enhance your teaching and improve student learning. Learn the ins and outs of finding, exploring, creating, publishing, remixing, licensing, and attributing the materials you’d love to integrate into your own courses. Be among the first to see recently developed Canvas shells for the Core 8 (CAP/ADT) ECE courses, pre-populated with videos available for use at no cost. Join us to learn about additional resources that are under development and explore ways to integrate resources into your courses with your colleagues.

Meals and accommodations will be provided and travel expenses will be reimbursed at the state rate. Open to all California Community College ECE and child development faculty. Space is limited.
