The 2020 Curriculum Institute will be taking place at the Riverside Convention Center - Riverside, California.

Registration Information

Early Registration Deadline: June 1, 2020

If you are attending the Pre-Session - please select the ticket that already includes Pre-Session.

If you arrive on-site and have not registered for the $50 Pre-Session,  you will be required to pay the additional  $50 registration fee prior to admission.

Early Registration General Conference with No Pre-Session: $540 (June 1st before 5:00 pm)

Early Registration General Conference and includes Pre-Session: $590 (June 1st before 5:00 pm)

Late Registration General Confence with No Pre-Session: $640 (June 1st after 5:00 pm)

Late Registration General Conference and includes Pre-Session: $690 (June 1st after 5:00 pm)

1 Day Presenter Registration: $110

2 Day Presenter Registration: $215

For presenters attending all three days, a full conference registration is required.

*** Space will allow 9 people per college. For numbers over 9, please email events [at] asccc.org ( events [at] asccc.org )directly with specific requests for exemptions.***

FAQs

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

  • Payment is required prior to entering an Academic Senate event.

  • Please remember that the last day (June 1, 2020) to cancel your registration without penalty is always posted at the bottom of each event's webpage, and is listed in each confirmation email. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to events [at] asccc.org on or before the posted date. Registration will not be canceled due to non-payment. All cancellations made after the posted cancellation date will be assessed a $175 cancellation fee.

  • Full Refunds will not be granted for cancellations after the posted cancellation deadline.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 business working days prior (July 1, 2020) to the event will be billed the full registration amount for the conference.

  • No shows, unclaimed "TBA" attendees, and cancellations made after the deadline will be billed to you and/or your college for the total cost of registration and room if applicable to the event. As attendees are permitted to register without funds, we have no way of determining cancellation unless specifically told, in writing.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure payment of the registration fee. Submission of your registration signifies agreement with this policy.

  • Unpaid balances owed to the Academic Senate must be paid off before an attendee can register for a future event.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No, All attendee registrations must match the ticket.  If you would like to transfer your registration, you must cancel the first one, then register the second attendee online.  If a payment transfer needs to be made because payment was made by check, you must contact the Senate Office directly with a written notification at events [at] asccc.org (events [at] asccc.org.)

Hotel & Travel

Hotel Information

Event registration is required before you can reserve a hotel room under the ASCCC meeting room block. Your email confirmation for event registration will direct you to the hotel reservation website once you have completed event registration. We recommend that you make your reservation as early as possible, as space is limited and fills up quickly! If your first choice of hotel is booked, please try the alternates with group blocks reserved.

We have ASCCC group blocks set up at the following hotels:

The room rates are $137 per night plus taxes and fees. Rates and availability are limited and event registration alone does not guarantee a hotel room. Our room block rate will expire on Tuesday June 23, 2020. Self-parking is discounted to $14 daily.  For those flying, Ontario Airport is the closest airport to the hotel.  The hotel does not provide airport shuttlesComplimentary wi-fi will be provided in guest rooms.

The room rates range from $95-$149/ per night plus taxes and fees based on availabiity. Rates and availability are limited and event registration alone does not guarantee a hotel room. Our room block rate will expire on Tuesday June 16, 2020. Self-parking is discounted to $17 daily and Valet parking is $23 daily.  For those flying, Ontario Airport is the closest airport to the hotel.  The hotel does not provide airport shuttles.
