CTE Faculty Diversification
March 25, 2021 | 3:00 pm -4:00 pm
Current research supports the value of a diverse faculty. However, national and state trends demonstrate the need to move strategically to diversify community college. College policy, processes, practices, and committee structures all impede the success of this essential goal. The session will provide an opportunity for conversations as we collectively explore “everyday wisdom,” to positively improve CTE faculty diversification, turn challenges into triumphs and highlight the use of the Career Technical Education Faculty Minimum Qualifications Toolkit to improve CTE hiring outcomes.
