Bay Area Curriculum Training

Event Dates

The Academic Senate will be hosting regional curriculum discussions this spring. There is so much happening in the world of curriculum that we wanted to provide opportunities for faculty to meet together to discuss news and challenges. Please mark your calendar for the date of the regional training meeting nearest to you and invite two other curriculum gurus to join you (limit of three curriculum folks per college).

Registration is required and is free.

All the regional meetings will begin at 10:00am and continue until 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided. We will be joined by Stephanie Low from the Chancellor’s Office. Topics will include the new AA-T and AS-T degrees, prerequisites and content review, repeatability, and more.  An agenda will be available later in March.

More details and a registration form will be posted shortly.

Who Should Register?

Teams are limited to four members per college. Teams should include the curriculum chair, a counselor, an administrator, and a staff and/or faculty member.  After attending the regional meeting, team members are highly encouraged to share information provided with others who are unable to attend.
