AB 1725 - Part-Time Faculty

Whereas AB 1725 exempts credentialed employees of California Community Colleges, employed as of June 30, 1990, from new State mandated minimum qualifications, but fails to address credentialed part-time faculty,

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges work for inclusion of part-time faculty employed at a community college before July 1, 1990, into Section 87355 of AB 1725 (minimum qualification and hiring criteria).
