Articulation with Hispanic Serving Institutions

Whereas the Hispanic population is the fastest growing segment of the California economy, and

Whereas there are increasing numbers of "Hispanic Serving Institutions" (HSIs) as determined by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), and

Whereas there is no systemwide process established for developing articulation agreements with "Hispanic Serving Institutions."

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge the Board of Governors to direct the Chancellor to investigate articulation opportunities with the "Hispanic Serving Institutions."
