Whereas the Academic Senates of the three segments of higher education have cooperatively deliberated on the nature of courses that should apply to the bachelor's degree, and

Whereas CSU Executive Order 167 mandated a written report on the issue of baccalaureate appropriate courses, and

Whereas the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges considered criteria for baccalaureate appropriate courses at the 1986 Fall Conference and made recommendations concerning said criteria, and

Whereas said recommendations were incorporated into the current proposal on baccalaureate appropriate courses,

Resolved that the Academic Senate approve the statement "Considerations Involved in Determining What Constitutes a Baccalaureate Level Course."
