Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopt the following changes in the Senate Bylaws:
Article V, Section 1 - . . .All Executive Committee members shall be senators or local senate presidents at the time of their election and must retain their faculty status to continue in office.
Article IV, Section 2 - Past President
The President, only upon completion of his or her final elected term of office, shall serve as immediate Past President. The immediate Past President shall remain in that office as long as he or she is the immediate Past President.
Article IV, Section 4 - President's Term
The President shall serve no more than two consecutive elected one-year terms.
