Chancellor Evaluation

Whereas the current chancellor for the California Community Colleges has not established, nor agreed to establish, a policy for consulting collegially on academic and professional matters with the Academic Senate, and

Whereas the consultation process cannot work effectively without good faith efforts and mutual trust,

Resolved that the Academic Senate conduct a formal evaluation of the Chancellor, and

Resolved that the results of this evaluation be used to create a position paper recommending action to the Board of Governors, and

Resolved that the results of this position paper be presented at a future session and forwarded to the Board of Governors.
