Whereas the Commission on Innovation report Choosing the Future: An Action Agenda for Community Colleges in Recommendation 2, Strategy 2, Action 1, states, "Expand Ed>Net's role in leading college economic development efforts,"
Resolved that the Academic Senate reaffirm the need for a stronger faculty role in the development of policies and procedures for the operation of the California Community College Economic Development Network (Ed>Net) by seeking increased faculty participation on the Ed>Net executive committee.
