Whereas the pedagogy and learning effects of such compressed courses have not been researched or discussed,
Resolved that the Academic Senate direct the Executive Committee to study and research compressed course offerings, including the effects on student learners, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate direct the Executive Committee, in studying compressed classes, to make recommendations for possible changes in Title 5 regulations regarding such cases.
Found not Feasible. The has reported on use of compressed calendars in its FAQ sheet on that subject. The Executive approved this form of response as one of the committee's goals for this year.
