Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopt the document, The CSU Policy to Eliminate Remedial Education for Entering Undergraduate Students: The Scope, Implications, and Impact, and

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges oppose the CSU proposed policy that states "Effective with the Fall term in the year 2001, it will be a condition of admission to the California State University that entering undergraduate students must demonstrate readiness to undertake college level instruction in English and mathematics."
