Whereas many of the community college reforms involve discipline specific issues, and
Whereas many discipline specific education organizations currently exist, both at the community college and kindergarten through postsecondary levels, and
Whereas the expertise available in such professional organizations should be tapped more effectively and efficiently,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend to the Chancellor's Office that a directory of discipline specific organizations involving community college educators be developed, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate recommend to the Chancellor's Office that a contact person be listed for each organization, and that the directory be distributed to local senates.
