Fiscal Support of Learning Resources (Instructional Services)

Whereas instructional services profiles provided by Learning Resource Centers are an integral factor in student success and in accommodating for diverse learning styles, and

Whereas the instructional services areas have been the most severely devastated by budgetary reductions since the passage of Proposition 13,

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend to local senates that they work with their districts and their administrations to reaffirm their commitment through action by adhering to the work measures and standards established in the state program based funding regulations in regard to Learning Resource Centers.
