Whereas Health Center services are essential to our students, and
Whereas the number of students who receive Board of Governors waivers is steadily increasing, and
Whereas Board of Governors grant recipients have their health fees waived, thus reducing the health fee funds available at a college for health services,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend that the Board of Governors include in Board of Governors tuition grants funds for campus health service fees, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges support and affirm the efforts of the Health Services Association of California Community Colleges in its endeavor to effect stabilization of health services funding.
