Whereas students can transfer only 70 units to CSU or UC, and
Whereas the proposed general education transfer curriculum of 37-39 semester units makes it difficult for some students to complete the requirements for their majors as well as the general education transfer curriculum within this 70-unit limit,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges explore with CSU and UC the possibility of raising the 70-unit limit for transfer.
