Whereas there are limited scholarships available for students entering community colleges, and
Whereas students are often unaware of what financial aid is available to them as they enroll in a community college,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend that local senates seek sources of funding for scholarships for students entering community colleges, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to work with scholarship committees or other committees on campus to establish and develop criteria for scholarships for entering students.
