Whereas Community College have had very little input into the School-to-Career draft documents, and
Whereas the School-to-Work legislation will have a direct impact on community college vocational and academic programs, and
Whereas these programs will have a correlation to curriculum and to student career paths, and
Whereas the educational paths must be clearly defined for the student who continues to higher education, for the student who exits and returns for AAIAS, and for the student who exits and returns for a BAIBS,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to seek involvement in the final draft of the School-to-Career Plan.
