Minimum Standards - Not-for-Credit Presenters

Whereas current Title 5 regulations do not establish any standards for not-for-credit presenters, and

Whereas these presenters represent the college and the community may view them as faculty, and

Whereas some of the not-for-credit offerings may resemble credit or noncredit classes,

Resolved that the Academic Senate recommend to the Board of Governors that minimum standards be established for all not-for-credit presenters, and

Resolved that the Academic Senate encourage the Board of Governors to rely primarily upon the advice and judgment of the Academic Senate when establishing these standards.
