Partnership for Excellence funding has been discontinued.
Whereas the indicators for the use of Partnership for Excellence funds involve academic and professional matters as defined in Title 5, especially all areas such as basic skills and transfer relating to student success, and
Whereas Partnership for Excellence funds are part of the college's planning and budget development process,
Resolved that the Academic Senate request the Chancellor of California Community Colleges to recognize the role of local academic senates in the Partnership for Excellence funding allocation process and student success strategies as an academic and professional matter, thus requiring that local senates be relied on primarily or that mutual agreement be reached on the process for allocation of Partnership funds, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate request that the Chancellor urge CEOs to recognize the role of local academic senates in determining the use of Partnership funding.
