Whereas Title 5 gives faculty the primary responsibility for curriculum, and
Whereas curriculum committees have now assumed duties formerly performed by administrators, and
Whereas these new duties require a considerable amount of time and resources,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges urge local senates to work with their administrators to secure appropriate reassigned time and clerical support for the faculty chairperson of the curriculum committee.
