The "Student Equity: From Dialog and Access to Action" paper was adopted in Spring 2010.
Whereas, Title 5 54220 required each California community college to submit a student equity plan by January 31, 2005;
Whereas, The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges adopted the revised Guidelines to Developing a Student Equity Plan, and the Board of Governors adopted the "Equity and Diversity Task Force Report" (Fall 2002); and
Whereas, Local academic senates have a formal commitment to equity and diversity;
Resolved, That the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges work with the California Community College System Office and local academic senates to form a review team to evaluate and provide feedback to each college on its student equity plan; and
Resolved, That the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges work with the California Community College System Office and local academic senates to form a review team to provide assistance to those colleges that may not have submitted a plan's Disposition: Chancellor, Local Senates
