Whereas in response to mandates contained in AB 1725 (Chapter 973, Statutes of 1988) the Board of Governors adopted revisions to existing Title 5 regulations about minimum standards for student participation in governance,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend to local senates that they recognize the increased role of students in governance, and include them in the development of district and college policies that have or will have a significant effect on students.
