Whereas many students in California Community Colleges do not receive Associate Degrees, and
Whereas many students might use a certificate in Basic Skills for employment,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges recommend to local senates that the colleges develop programs for students to earn certificates of achievement in basic skills.
