Whereas all faculty members who are hired should be fully qualified to fulfill the duties of a faculty member, and
Whereas a requirement of a Bachelor's degree for tenure would add an additional requirement for faculty members who have already been deemed qualified to teach,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges support the position that the minimum educational qualifications be the same for the granting of tenure as for the hiring of faculty.
