Whereas AB 1725, in its present form, mandates a bachelor's degree for tenure, and

Whereas the ability to obtain a degree more advanced than the A.A. or A.S. degrees is limited in some areas of the state by unavailability of classes,

Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges work through the Intersegmental Coordinating Council and the lntersegmental Committee of the Academic Senates to initiate discussions among the segments so that appropriate classes leading to a Bachelor of Vocational Education and a master's degree are offered in a variety of locations at times convenient for community college faculty.
