Whereas Title 5 requires that job announcements be reviewed by college affirmative action committees,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges encourage local senates to work with their local districts to ensure that their hiring policies have a provision for the review of all job announcements by their local Affirmative Action committees.
