Whereas local senates are struggling with the implementation of the components of AB 1725, and
Whereas many local senates do not currently have a process in place for disseminating information about the mandates,
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to make scheduled visits in addition to technical assistance visits to local senates to respond to the needs of the local senates regarding their responsibilities to implement the mandates of AB 1725, and
Resolved that the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges direct the Executive Committee to compile a list of resource persons with knowledge of the specific mandates in AB 1725 to be distributed to local senates.
