Part-Time Faculty: Office Hours

Resolved that in order to enhance the academic quality in our colleges, the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges support the following position: Office hours should be part of any credit/noncredit part-time assignment and compensation for such service be determined by negotiation through the bargaining agent when appropriate. College catalogs should state clearly that faculty will be available to students during office hours.
