2022 Spring Plenary Session - Hybrid Event

Event Dates
Deadline to Register/Application Deadline

ASCCC presents the 2022 Spring Plenary - Hybrid Event, held at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Hotel, Burbank, CA and in Pathable's Virtual Event Platform, April 7-9, 2022.

Registration Cutoff: March 25, 2022

THEME:  Strengthening Teaching, Leading, and Learning through Racial Justice and Academic Freedom

In order to make the event as accessible as possible for all attendees, regardless of the way they choose to attend, ASCCC opted to make one flat fee for the registration, based on the costs identified to put the event together.

The costs include Audio/Visual that would allow online attendees the ability to interact with in-person attendees, and in-person attendees access to the Pathable site to communicate with online attendees. The A/V charges for the 2021 Fall Plenary session, which totaled roughly $55,000, were covered by the ASCCC and not included in the registration fees for attendees. We hope that this flat fee structure for this hybrid plenary session will allow you to attend the session in whichever modality works the best for you and your college.

SS Fee Structure

COVID Precautions - Subject to change per change in regulations with the mask mandates. We will update the information as it becomes available.

For your safety and the safety of others, we will be asking all in-person attendees to sign our COVID Waiver, attesting to having received a vaccine or taking a COVID test with a negative result 72 hours prior to the plenary. There will be a mask requirement when indoors for all attendees, staff, and presenters, except for when you are actively eating. Dining arrangements have also been made such that no more than four people will be seated at a table to maintain social distance and meals will be served buffet style by hotel personnel to minimize touching.

RESOLUTIONS FOR DISCUSSION

The Spring 2022 plenary session is being held as a hybrid event, therefore necessitating that the Resolutions process also be held in a hybrid format, through the use of an online platform to conduct the voting.

Delegates do not need to attend in person to vote but do need to be registered for the event.

For more information, please visit the 2022 Spring Resolutions Page. More information and instructions will be posted soon.

MEMBER SENATE RESPONSIBILITY - NOTIFICATION OF DELEGATES TO ASCCC

In order to conduct the online election, we will need each member Senate to verify that we have the college’s correct delegate for voting. The Senate President listed in the Senate Directory for each campus will need to complete the Delegate Change Form. The college will not be able to vote in the online election unless this form is submitted. Forms must be emailed to the ASCCC Office - events@asccc.org by March 31, 2022.
